First off, congrats on your engagement! This is such an exciting time! We are overflowing with joy that you are considering us to be apart of your day.
I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting , but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! My goal as a wedding photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience.

Justin and I are high school sweet hearts that now live in the suburbs of Nashville with our two very hairy pups. We have three little boys, Ollie, Henry, & Charlie. Most days you can find me hid up in my office working away while little babies play around me. At some point, we will take a long nap. Our evenings are spent eating dinner while watching the Preds score or catching up with our latest Netflix addiction. We are currently on the hunt to find the best burger in Nashville.
Our wedding images are real, timeless, and full of moments. We strive to capture each day uniquely, because each wedding is different. The candid moments that aren't on the shot list are the photos we look for. We are there to capture each moment, but we are also there to wipe tears, bustle dresses, and grab flowers. We pray, years from now, as you hold each photo, the joy from your wedding day overflows. Each stream of light, each stretching smile, and each kiss, are moments that endure through your photos.

Why an Engagement Session
I include engagement sessions in our collections because I truly believe that they are a VITAL part of the entire process. During your engagement session, you’ll have the chance to get to know me, experience how I shoot and how I handle posing and lighting. This session will make a HUGE impact on how the wedding day flows. I’ll arrive on your wedding day already knowing how you two interact, what your best poses are and how to photograph you in a genuine way! What I will learn about you during your engagement session is invaluable! You will feel like such a pro on your big day because of the great practice you had during your engagement session, and that’s how it should be!
It’s always a little intimidating to have your picture taken .... even if it’s just a photo on an iphone that is taken by a friend. We still want to look nice, make sure nothing is in our teeth and that our hair is behaving! I realize that preparing for your engagement session can be a little overwhelming. After booking, you will receive pages of information with tips for outfits, handling nerves, and recommendations that will make your shoot the best it can possibly be!

After booking, you will receive a bridal guide in the mail full of information to help plan your wedding day. I have taken the information I have learned from shooting over 100 weddings and combined them into an 80+ page guide. A few of my favorite topics included: Engagement Session Outfit Guide, Sample Timelines, Bridal Details, Rainy Wedding Days, High Impact Planning, Controlled Exits, and SO MUCH MORE!

All wedding dates are first come, first serve. Your date can be reserved by submitting a completed contract and 20% retainer. Let's chat over coffee or Skype to get to know one another! So, shoot me an email and we can set up a time to chat! We are so excited about being apart of your day!
